the challenges that relationships are facing

We are living in an increasingly globalized world. We can follow live events in all parts of the planet; we do this, however, as impotent spectators. Solidarity and communion are needed more and more urgently; yet, paradoxically, individualism is spreading, and this is making true relationships ever more rare and fragmented.The impact of secularism is weakening even our relationship with God. Vocations are on the decline. Fewer and fewer young people are willing to offer all their entire life to God. Parishes are finding it hard to address the needs of a society that, in spite of everything, is yearning for the source of fraternity.

is there a way forward?

What prospects can the Church harbour in such circumstances? How can we make the Gospel relevant to our socio-cultural situation and thus feel fulfilled and happy in our priestly ministry? Around 500 seminarians from many parts of the world will be meeting in Castelgandolfo (Rome) (2 – 4 January 2009) to try to answer these questions together.

Mi avete fatto andare in dietro nella nostra storia Ideale di quelli che abbiamo creduto e oggi siamo sacerdoti. Sono stato al congreso del 94 e lí sono stati delle cose piú meravigliosi, quando ho scelto Dio come mio unico Bene. E dopo questa elezione sono venuti tante cose belli. Offriamo dalla colombia nostro amore allo Sposo, perche ci sono tanti dolori. James, il bianco gens e che vuole andare al congreso, oggi parlerá col suo Vescovo per chiedere il permeso ma, ha un suo dolores nom c'e stato aprobato per il diaconato, debi aspettare cualcjhe giorni. Lui 'e veramente in pace vuole soltanto abbraciare GA. Dobbiamo pregare per lui. Il suoi altri 4 compagni di corso reciverano il diaconto il prossimo 5 dicembre e se Dio vuole anche lui. Bravi gens, augorone per il congresso e aspettimao la participazione di James e di tanti altr...

Il cuore è stracolmo di gioia...tanti gli imput che lo riempiono, i propositi che lo hanno invaso. Il desiderio!!!...è forse questo quello che voglio portarmi a casa e in seminario...il desiderio di unità, di comunione, di Amore. Mi porto dentro la paura di buttar via anche una sola goccia dell'oceano di paradiso vissuto in questi giorni. Sicuramente lo farò...sarà il mio Gesù Abbandonato. Un forte abbraccio a tutti i seminaristi e gens del mondo...insieme per una nuova umanità che vive nell'Amore!!! Claudio

Thank you for the generosity and the love of the gens in the center. Through this we are one with a seminarian from our seminary so that with the other seminarians and formators we could be aware of the challenges of today's seminarians and put into practice the lessons of the Congress. Together with other seminarians of the congress we wish to renew and deepen our relationship with God and those who are living with us in the seminary

Jomar  - A Triumph of Jesus in the Midst   |2009-01-06 13:17:37 The recent congress was truly a triumph of Jesus in the midst. We have seen Him as the foundation and meaning of all deep relationships. One can not just imagine that inspite of barriers in language, culture, age and different backgrouinds, within just 3 days, meaningful friendships were established. Surely, the reason for all these is the common experience of the Divine that we all made. Thank you so much for this wonderful moment of God! Let us move ahead with life...in love and unity!
